We don’t have out of the box functionality for creating a monthly rotation (first day of the month until last day of the month) at this time. However, the suggested workaround is to create a blank schedule and then set up each shift using overrides.

Register my vote for a monthly schedule feature… the ability to switch on-call users at a specified day/time each month. The override approach is very cumbersome. Thanks for the consideration.
We only do monthly rotations in our small team, so disappointed to see this is not a basic feature.

This is such a basic feature missing from pager duty.
Monthly rotations are essential for my team.
I’ve built schedules for about 20 teams and at least half of them wanted a monthly rotation. It’s honestly baffling that it is now 2022 and this still isn’t a feature.
I wish there was an update on the plan to add this feature. I have a few oncall groups we need this for. We are using 4 weeks but then using overrides. If someone gets added to the rotation then it screws up the whole schedule. Please add monthly.
I believe using “overrides” is not enough because it doesn’t push/move the rotation.
I’m on monthly rotation, rest of the team is rotating weekly. There’s no way to do that.
